If you’re after a laid-back Songkran, Railay Beach is the spot. There are casual water fights on the walking paths, but the vibe is way more relaxed than Ao Nang.

Ko Phi Phi Water Festival

If you’re in it for the party, Phi Phi Islands go all out for Songkran. In Tonsai Village, the narrow streets turn into a full-on water fight with backpackers and travelers everywhere.

Once the sun goes down, Loh Dalum Bay lights up with beach parties, fire shows, and DJs. It’s loud, wild, and nonstop—perfect if you want to celebrate Songkran with zero chill.

Ko Lanta Songkran Festival
